The Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Finance, Kaduna State, Hon. Shizzer Nasara Joy Bada has today called on Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service to improve and redouble it’s efforts towards generating more revenue (IGR) to the Kaduna State Government.
The Honourable Commissioner stated this while addressing the KADIRS team during the Agencies briefing at the State Ministry of Finance. Both “the Ministry and it’s revenue (IGR) generating Agencies have to synergize and work together in other to achieve the target goal as well as blocking all the leakages”. She said
She further said they have sworn in with Holy Books to work for the success and best interest of Kaduna State Government and it’s people, therefore all hands most be on deck and work together to improve the State’s IGR.
In it’s prentation during the meeting, Deloitte representative Mr. Adeoye Belah stated that having identify the gaps in the IGR their is need for improvement on the existing collection.

Morever, Sagamy Technologies Nigeria Limited also made a presentation on Digital, Tracking and Reconciliation of Revenue Collection in Kaduna State.
The representative of Sagamy Technologies Nigeria Limited Haruna Jessey stated that, the objectives was to increase Kaduna State IGR by Full end – to – end digitalizition of revenue collection mechanism, Robust tracking, evaluation & reconciliation of revenue collection, Tighten controls around all sources & payment channels.
The meeting was attended by Permanent Secretary Ministry of Finance Mallam Mahmud Shuaibu, Accountant General Kaduna State Bashir Suleiman Zuntu and the Management staff of the ministry.
