The Project Financial Management Unit (PFMU) is a unit under the office of the Accountant General, Kaduna State. It was established in 2004 as a World Bank Condition to access IDA’s Financial Support for Development Projects.
The unit is responsible for the Financial Management of all projects’ funds. This includes the preparation and submission of all the required reports to the World Bank, FMOF , Kaduna State MOF, as well as other donor Agencies and the National offices of projects at Abuja. These reports include Financial Monitoring Reports on quarterly basis, Annual Accounts, and Statements, Annual Audit Reports, Internal Audit Reports also on quarterly basis, disbursement of Funds from the World Bank into various Projects Accounts an making payments for project activities.
